Privacy Policy
Published August 2026 · Last updated September 2026
At UK IPTV, we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect when you visit our website, contact us, use our chat service, or purchase a subscription, how we use that information, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We don't create a record about you just for browsing the website. Most of the information below is only collected once you start a conversation in our live chat:
- An anonymous support username, generated automatically for your conversation.
- Your name and email address, only if you choose to share them.
- Your WhatsApp number, used to deliver your connection details after payment.
- The plan, device, and payment method you select while ordering.
- The messages you send in chat.
- Your IP address.
- Your approximate country, based on your IP address.
- Basic browser and operating system information, based on your browser's user-agent.
- How you arrived at our site — such as a referring page, search engine, landing page, or campaign parameters from a marketing link.
- Timestamps for when your conversation and messages were created.
If you accept functional cookies, we also set a first-party cookie to remember how you arrived at our site. That stays in your browser and is only added to a support record if you start a chat conversation — see Cookies and Similar Technologies below.
Chat and Customer Support Information
When you use our website chat, we store the messages you send so our support team can respond to questions, help with device setup, help you choose a plan, process your order, and continue the conversation if you come back. Chat messages may be associated with technical information such as your IP address and approximate country, which helps our team understand and respond to support requests. Chat conversations are private and are not published or made publicly visible.
IP Address and Approximate Location
We collect your IP address when you start a chat conversation, along with your country as reported by our hosting network. We use this for purposes such as security, fraud prevention, customer support, understanding where support requests come from, and improving the service. This location information is approximate — based on your IP address, not GPS — and is limited to your country; we don't currently determine a more specific region or city.
How We Use Your Information
- Responding to customer support requests
- Processing subscription requests and orders
- Confirming payment and activating your subscription
- Providing setup assistance
- Communicating with you about your order
- Understanding how visitors reach our website
- Preventing fraud and abuse
- Maintaining website and account security
- Troubleshooting technical problems
- Improving the website and customer experience
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
Payment Information
We don't process payments directly through our website, and we don't collect or store complete card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account credentials. When you choose a payment method while ordering, we record which method you selected — for example, Bitcoin, PayPal, UK bank transfer, Apple Pay, or credit/debit card where available — so we can send the right instructions and confirm your order.
Depending on the method, you complete payment directly with a third-party provider or network — for example, sending cryptocurrency to a wallet address we provide, or paying through PayPal, Apple Pay, or your bank. Those providers and networks process your payment according to their own privacy policies, not ours, and we don't control how they handle your information. Cryptocurrency payments are recorded on their respective public blockchains, which are not anonymous.
Analytics and Referral Information
We may collect technical information about how visitors reach our website, such as referring pages or websites, the search engine used (if applicable), landing pages, and campaign parameters from marketing links. This information is only stored as part of a support record if you start a chat conversation. We use it to understand where support requests come from and to improve the site — we don't currently use a dedicated analytics platform.
Telegram Notifications
When you start a new chat conversation, or send a follow-up message after our team has already replied, a notification may be sent to our private UK IPTV Telegram support group so our team knows to respond. This notification includes your anonymous support username, your approximate country, how you found our site (such as a search engine or referring website), the page you landed on, the text of your message, and a link to that conversation in our admin dashboard. This notification is only visible to our support team and is not published publicly.
Who We Share Information With
We share information with service providers only where necessary to run our website and support customers:
- Our hosting provider, which stores our website and database.
- Telegram, for internal support notifications as described above.
- WhatsApp (operated by Meta), which we use to deliver your connection details automatically once payment is confirmed.
We don't use third-party analytics or advertising providers, and we don't sell personal information. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or a valid legal request.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep chat, order, and support records for as long as reasonably necessary for customer support, order history, security, fraud prevention, and resolving disputes. We haven't set a fixed automatic deletion schedule; conversations and account records can be deleted on request — contact us through our Contact page.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. For example, our website is served over HTTPS, our admin dashboard requires authentication and isn't publicly accessible, and sensitive credentials are kept in server-side configuration rather than in the website's code. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Privacy Rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), and depending on your circumstances, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which can include the right to:
- Request access to your personal information
- Request correction of your personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Request information about how your information is processed
- Object to certain processing, where applicable
- Request restriction of processing, where applicable
To make a privacy-related request, contact us through our Contact page.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the service under applicable law.
Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may link to or work with third-party services, such as payment providers, IPTV player applications you install on your own device, device platforms, and other external websites. These third parties have their own privacy policies and terms, and UK IPTV does not control their privacy practices.
International Data Transfers
Depending on the service providers we use, such as our hosting provider, information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, or information practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
