Best IPTV Apps for Smart TV, Android TV, and Firestick

By Sam RiveraPublished June 18, 2026Updated August 10, 2026

ino iptv doesn't publish its own player app — your subscription works with any player that accepts an M3U playlist URL or an Xtream Codes login. Which app to install depends heavily on your device. Here's what we've found works well on the most common ones.

Amazon Fire TV and Firestick

The Amazon Appstore has several M3U and Xtream Codes-compatible player apps. After installing one, you'll enter the server address, username, and password (for Xtream Codes) or the playlist URL (for M3U) that support sends after your order is confirmed. Sideloading an app from outside the Appstore is possible on Fire TV but adds setup steps most people don't need.

Android TV boxes and Google TV

Google Play offers similar player apps to the Fire TV Appstore, and setup is nearly identical: install a player, add your playlist or Xtream login, and confirm the EPG loads. Android TV boxes also support sideloaded APKs if a specific app isn't on the Play Store for your region.

Smart TVs

This is the most inconsistent category. Some Samsung and LG models have app stores with compatible players; others are limited enough that a dedicated player isn't practical. If your TV's app store doesn't have a good option, the most reliable fix is connecting a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box to the TV instead of relying on the TV's built-in apps.

Phones, tablets, and computers

iOS and Android both have App Store / Play Store player apps that accept M3U or Xtream Codes logins. On desktop, several free and paid M3U players are available for Windows and Mac, and some web-based players work directly from a browser with just the playlist URL.

What to check regardless of device

  • The app explicitly supports M3U or Xtream Codes — not every "IPTV app" does.
  • You can enter connection details manually, not just scan a QR code from a specific provider.
  • The app shows an EPG (program guide), not just a raw channel list, if that matters to you.

If you're not sure whether a specific app will work with your plan, ask in chat before you buy it — most player apps are free, but it saves time to confirm compatibility first. Once you've picked an app, our setup checklist covers entering your connection details.

Frequently asked questions

Does ino iptv have its own app?

No — we provide the playlist or login credentials, and you choose the player app. This means you're not locked into one specific app if you'd rather switch later.

Which app do you recommend?

It depends on your device and personal preference for layout and EPG style. Ask in chat and support can suggest a couple of options based on your specific device.
